  • Reserve an AHR venue & pay deposits - CHECK!
  • Create wedding planning notebook to hold all information - CHECK!
  • Hire a travel agent - CHECK!
JUNE 2010
  • Book the wedding trip once the 2011 prices have been released - CHECK!
  • Create a room block of 10 for wedding party - CHECK!
  • Send STD - CHECK!
  • Book & pay deposit for wedding photographer/videographer - CHECK!
  • Pay deposit on the wedding package at The Royal (1/2 of package price) - CHECK!
  • Make the wedding website live - CHECK!
  • Begin dress shopping - CHECK!
  • Choose bridemaids & groomsmen
  • Make bridesmaids & groomsmen gifts/cards
  • Put engagement announcement in the papers (Waco, SA, Seguin, & Abilene)
  • Give everyone a planning checklist of things they are responsible for
  • Get engagement ring insured
JULY 2010
  • Select & book DJ, ceremony musicians (harpist), cocktail hour musicians (trio)
  • Reserve Chef's Plate for rehearsal dinner
  • Choose & purchase wedding attire (wedding dress, AHR dress, Trash the dress)
  • Choose & purchase wedding shoes, veil, headpieces, etc.
  • Hire an AHR planning coordinator - CHECK!
  • Make reservations & meetings for August site visit trip - CHECK!
  • Second round of STD's to the rest of the guest list mailed
AUGUST 2010
  • Go on summer vacation/site visit and meet with wedding coordinator - CHECK!
  • Select florist & floral arrangements (visit them during site visit)
  • Select bridesmaids & groomsmen attire
  • Create wedding and honeymoon registries
SEPTEMBER 2010
  • Purchase thank you notes (showers & gifts)

OCTOBER 2010
  • Put together ceremony script (order of events)

  • Book & pay deposit for AHR "furniture"/ equipment rental

  • Book & pay deposit for AHR photobooth
  • Book & pay deposit for AHR ice sculpture

NOVEMBER 2010
  • Choose & purchase Daniel's wedding attire

JANUARY 2011

FEBRUARY 2011
  • Choose/purchase wedding day jewelry/accessories
  • Purchase wedding bands

MARCH 2011
  • Go on Spring Break/ site visit trip!!
  • Confirm all wedding details with resort & non-resort vendors
  • Decide on "add on" items to wedding package & book them
  • Mail official invitations
  • Book Raven & Onyx a suite at the dog kennel for the wedding trip :)
APRIL 2011
  • Have bridal portraits taken
  • RSVP's due for head count
  • Buy attendant & parent gifts
  • Buy OOT of town bag supplies based off of RSVP count
  • Buy AHR invitation supplies & assemble them
  • Assemble & make luggage tags & travel info for confirmed wedding guests

MAY 2011
  • Choose & purchase "wedding week  & honeymoon clothes" - SHOPPING TRIP!!
  • Have bridal shower 
  • Assemble OOT bags
  • Mail luggage tags and travel info to confirmed wedding guests
  • Mail AHR invitations
  • Pay for any "add on" items to wedding package
  • Make &/or buy ceremony program fans
  • Make table numbers & escort cards if necessary
  • Make menu cards for Mexico reception

JUNE 2011
  • Pack 
  • Get hair and nails done
  • Finalize head count
  • GET MARRIED!!!!! JUNE 18th @ 5:30pm
  • Perform legal ceremony on June 11, 2011
  • AHR RSVP's due - take a head count

JULY 2011
  • Make photo thank you cards
  • Put wedding announcement in newspapers (Abilene, Waco, SA, & Seguin)
