Cocktail Hour & Reception Details

We will be having a cocktail hour followed by a dinner reception. Both of these events will immediately follow the ceremony. During the cocktail reception we will be taking our couple pictures, bridal party pictures, and family pictures.

Cocktail Hour Location & Set Up

We will be having a cocktail reception at the terrace outside of the Gran Caribe gazebo immediately following the ceremony (5:30pm - 6:30pm). Our package includes a champagne toast and will be done once we have exited the gazebo. Immediately after the toast, Daniel and I will "disappear" to take photos. Meanwhile, the guests will be served hors d 'oeuvres and have an open bar. There will also be a mariachi trio for entertainment.

There will be a champagne toast immediately after the ceremony to begin cocktail hour. Our champagne flutes will be available for us to drink out of and carry with us to pictures.

Reception Location & Set Up

We will be having a dinner reception at the Villa Terrace beginning around 7:00pm and ending at 10:00pm. The guests will either be served a plated dinner if there are less than 50 guests or we will serve a buffet style dinner if there are more than 50. Open bar will be available along with our signature cocktail. (Bar menu on chalkboard)

Overall "Feel" & Decorations

My goal is to use fabric to drape a "canopy" over the terrace. I also want white table linens with colored chair sashes. This picture that the wedding coordinator sent me has some of the ideas that I had in my head. This is similar to my vision and was very helpful for inspiration.

Guestbook & Guestbook Table Decorations

We are thinking about doing a postcard guestbook. Final decision to come later.....
